About
Hi there and welcome! I’m Kat and I created Natural Made Simple to help you learn simple ways to switch from conventional products to natural options. I hope to help you become more confident, empowered, and successful in your natural living adventure.
At Natural Made Simple you will find DIY recipes, products, and tips for both your home and personal use. My goal is to make the switch to natural options easy for you because building a natural life should be simple!
A Bit About Me
I live in Ohio with my husband and daughter. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, hiking, photography, writing, cooking, and reading. I love trying new workouts and finding new ways to be active. I also love to travel and hope to do that more!
Professionally, I am a certified school psychologist and have spent over ten years working with preschool-age children. I also completed the Health Coach Certification program through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute in 2015.
I began researching health and natural living before having our daughter in 2013. I wanted to make sure that I was healthy for her and I wanted to make sure that I was providing her with the best nutrition and environment for her development and wellness.
In 2014 I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Hashimoto’s is a frustrating and sometimes debilitating autoimmune disorder in which antibodies directed against the thyroid gland
Fun facts about me:
- I was an Air-Force brat as a kid.
- I’m a volunteer dog walker (I take any chance I get to pet a cute dog).
- I used to own a food business with my husband.
- I love chocolate and coffee!

Most importantly, I want to thank you for taking the time to visit this site! It means the world to me and I wouldn’t be here without you.
Wishing you a natural life,
Kat
